started this journey with no money, no support, no experience—and two beautiful kids who depend on my husband and I every day. I’m a stay-at-home mom trying to build something that will give us a better future. Some days I feel unstoppable. Other days, I wonder if I’m crazy.
But I’m doing it anyway—because I believe in more. More for me. More for my kids.
The Truth About Starting from Scratch
When you have no money to invest, every step feels slow.
When you don’t have family cheering you on, it can feel lonely.
When you’re self-taught, it takes three times as long to learn what others might already know.
And when you’re doing all of this while caring for toddlers or homeschooling older kids? It feels impossible some days.
But I’ve learned that starting from scratch doesn’t mean starting from nothing.
It means I start with:
- A reason
- A vision
- And a whole lot of grit
The Hardest Parts for Me So Far
Time: Finding focused time between naps, meals, and meltdowns.
Tech: Learning WordPress, Canva, Pinterest with no background.
Doubt: Fighting the voice that says “you’re not qualified.”
Fear: Worrying no one will read or care what I write.
And yet, each time I hit publish, I feel stronger.
I’m not just building a blog—I’m rebuilding my confidence, one post at a time. Why I’m Doing It Anyway
I want my kids to grow up seeing that their mom didn’t give up.
I want to show them that even when we have little, we can still build something big.
I want freedom—not just financial freedom, but freedom to create, express, grow.
I’m not chasing overnight success.
I’m building something that will last—one blog post, one pin, one small step at a time.
If you’re reading this and you’re a mom starting with nothing too, know this:
You’re not alone.
You are allowed to learn.
You are allowed to grow.
And even if it’s hard—you are capable.
Let’s build together.
